Quick list of games I beat since my last blog. Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Resident Evil 5, Dark Sector, Quantum of Solace, Condemned 2: Bloodshot, Real Heroes: Firefighter, Fable, Shadow Complex, Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Final Fantasy X, Up, Rogue Warrior, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Borderlands, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, Prototype and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Lost Planet 2, Braid, Demon's Souls, Far Cry 2, BioShock 2, Crackdown 2, Dead Space, Kingdom Hearts, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows,Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Yeah I have been busy and have not been in the mood to blog. If I took the time and wrote about each game the list would just keep growing and take longer to finish.

Sony

killzone 3- didnt like 2, looks like 2, its in 3d dont have glasses, trailer was boring
Sorcery- looks like there was a sec delay between the move and shot
portal 2- coming to the ps3
twisted metal- never played any of the games but want to, 1st time for choppers will buy
Infamous 2- new person has ice powers Buy the day it comes out love 1
Heroes on the Move- sound cool but does it have to be on move
Motor Storm: Apocalypse- dont care for
LittleBigPlanet 2- looks great but dont want to pay $60 for it
was so bored during this I left and got food.

Nintendo

Epic Mickey- side scrolling looks good Mickey falls like lead
kirby epic yarn- lol epic yarn, I dont like the look really wish kirby was full color, game play looks fun.
DKC returns- gameplay is mostly the SNES version with a few new things like wall climbing, being able to go to the back
Golden Eye 007- hope it has gamecube controller in it, never played the 64 version.
Wii Party- what the wii need more party games
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - looks like abit of links crossbow training made it in the game, not thrilled that it has more motion controll, colors look bolder than the last zelda game
Kid Icarus: Uprising- about dam time but not for the wii sad face
Just Dance 2- dear god why!
Mario Sports Mix- hockey and dodgeball look fun

Quick thoughts on Ubisoft press conference

child of eden- looks like Rez with Kinect support only kinect game i want to play
AC: brotherhood- need to get AC2 and finish it, want to play this
Shaun white skateboarding game = fail Im calling it, tony hawk meets getting up
Lazertag game- sound cool then saw it played and sucked
Innergy- dumb, cant believe they will try to sell it
motionsports trailer was weird
show Your fitness again bathroom break
Rabbits travel in time- cool need to play the last 1 still
Ghost Recon- backpack rockets :o and you can go invisable I want! 4 person co op I need to change my pants
Driver: SF- sound cool until Shift Instantaneously between any car your person in a coma? what?
project duct the people look like they have paper plates on there head
rayman coming back, game looks fun. only 5 people work on it wow
maniaplant- want to try shooter and quest

Quick thoughts on EA press conference

NfS:hot pursuit- not a need for speed fan wondering if burnout is dead
Dead space 2- Need to get Dead space, looks very much like 1, cliffhanger end but see end at sony tomorrow.
Metal of honor- never played any of the games. live 24 player multiplayer demo on stage has the look like Killzone with alittle MW2 and BC2 in it. want to give it a try
MMA- dont care for it, live broadcast looks like a good way to bet UFC game
Active 2- no PS3 move support?
Madden- zzzzzzz
Sims 3- coming to consoles dont care
crysis 2- looks great, will be in 3D for 360, PS3 and PC but trailer not in 3D? I had 3D glasses on and didnt see anything. still want to know if you need to play 1 for 2
Bulletstorm- holy shit it looks sweet, want to see more, may get it.
Star wars- every player gets a ship cool if you use it more than just a save point. trailer was awsome.
way better than 360

Quick thoughts on 360 press conference

black ops- doesnt have Price in it so dont care for it. But for real dont care for it still.
Rising- Not a big fan of metal gear but the slice up the enemies in slow mo makes me want to at least rent it.
GoW3- Looks like 2, Like the spatter from the enemies and the charge move you can do now. Be sweet if thats added with a new chainsaw move.
Reach- The ship battling you can do? looks like it would be great.
Everything else was for Kinect and it was boring, the dance game looks fun to watch someone play that but I wouldnt enjoy playing it
Slim- looks cool in black. wonder what the fail rate for it will be. wondering how much more quiter is it than the normal 360.
Microsoft forgot about us the gamers only having a half hour of real games. The reaction to everyone who was not at the event getting a 360 slim is funny.

Flashback 8

Two weeks have passed by already, feel like I just wrote up my last blog yesterday. Well I stopped myself from playing more Fallout 3 to finish up some more games. The first game I finished is one of the launch titles for the PS3, Resistance: Fall of Man. This is a game that most people Im guessing picked when the PS3 launch. The story is about this one man Nathan Hale that survived a attack from the Chimera. The Chimera is some virus that changes humans in to Chimera. I was thinking I was going to fight aliens but Im fighting humans, sounds like Blacksite. The graphs suck, it has that look like a low budget 360 game, reminds me of Hour of victory. Most of the cut senses are just pics, news papers and maps like a slide show. All the enemies look the same and there are very few different types of enemies. The 1st level is the hardest part in the game, after that part you gain the ability to regain health. In the first level there is no healing pack or anything to heal you. In all the game is not that good and I wish I didn’t buy it, I hope Resistance 2 is not like this. I say pass on this game, there are better shoots on the PS3 like Killzone.

After finishing a PS3 game I went down a number and played on my PS2. In the Devil May Cry series I only played the 3rd game, I finally played and beaten the 1st Devil May Cry. The different between one and three are very little. Most of the sound has not changed. Game plays are the same, fighting move and a shooting button. Spending XP to get new moves and upgrade weapons are the same. The look of the game as improved; there are very few different kinds of enemies in one. You are mostly fighting off joker looking enemies, fighting them made me wonder where Jester is from three. The enemies look like him just with longer arms. The story is just basically an intro to Danta and his family history. It is a buy for any PS2 owner, now I just need to play two which I hear is the worst out of the three.

After I beat Devil may cry Game fly sent me X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Now movie video games are mostly always bad but not this one. The game is like god of war with RPG leveling system in it. The is about Wolverine before he joins the X men, how he got the claws and what made him not remember anything from his past is answered in this game. The game looks great, very bloody and the locations look fine. Wolverine healing looks cool but are some time his shirt start to appears out of no where. When Wolverine gets hurt and has big wounds on him his white shirt is tear off from it. Over all if you are a X men fan this is a rent, a harder difficulty is unlocked after you beat the game but I didn’t want to play through it again at that time. The game took me only 11 hours to beat, if you want to buy it wait until its $20 or less.

Well it was a slow two week but the next two weeks will be crazy. Modern Warfare 2, Left for dead 2 and The Ballad of Gay Tony (GTA 4 new DLC) will be keeping me busy.
